USB 3.1 CM to AM is a data cable . The cable and the connector is fully shielded and the pins are gold coated. It supports Power and data . The data speed supported up to 5 Gbps for 1 – 3 mtrs . The C port is connected to the host and A is to the devices – the A male cannot be connected to the Host . The c connector is reversible .The cable is constructed with shielded twisted pairs and multi core wires and the gauge ranges from 26 to 34 awg . Available Lengths : 1 – 3 mtrs . Applications : VR , Power , Data transfer , Video conferencing , Docking
